In an effort to address the rising cost of the traditional distribution of mobile prepay scratch cards, Imovation is proud to announce the availability of the first electronic wholesale distribution solution in the MENA region.
This innovative solution allows MNOs to offer any recharge product to any reseller at any time by allowing wholesalers to securely print thousands of PINs at their own strategically located distribution facilities. Imovation believes that the ability to print prepay vouchers on demand and within proximity of a distributor’s reseller network will significantly reduce logistics costs and time to delivery as well as eliminating the need for merchandise insurance.
Additionally, Imovation has addressed rising environmental concerns relating to the polluting effects of cards manufacturing by using recycled paper and avoiding plastic altogether in its solution deployment. Imovation has worked with EPSON engineers to create a secure printer with end to end encryption of the prepaid PINs which are transmitted over GPRS and printed on secure 2-ply paper similar to what is used by financial institutions that communicate PINs to their customers via mail.
